Spring Issue...

I am so lucky to be in the spring issue of Creative Scrapbooker!

The dude was a little shocked to see himself in full view in the magazine - something about asking prior to submitting... I say it is payback for stretchmarks... LOL

Hanging at the Club...

The Brampton Curling Club.... My dude has had a great time curling in Brampton.  He really likes Coach Ian and he feels he has improved over the year.  Practice is every Sunday and we come to as many as we can.  I see the change in him and he certainly enjoys the time on the ice... He even smiles every once in a while!

Kick Sled Dude...

Even a kick sledder can be exhausted... Wonder when this will be in the Olympics?  My dude will race for Canada!

Today's Card...

Well... It is official.  I am officially in LOVE with my Silhouette ❤.  Check out my Valentine cards for the younger dude to give to his friends! An awesome stamp by Lawn Fawn rounded them out.  Yippie.

Everybody say "yeah"...

I did it... I bought a Silhouette Cameo.  Yippie.

To anyone who crafts they feel my joy... For those of you don't... Just pretend.

I am so pumped to cut titles and shapes for layouts and cards.  This puppy cuts vinyl and chipboard... Sha-zang!  I just might catch that crazy trendy vinyl bug and put signs all over my house like "shut the front door" and "put your junk away"... Who knows.

Either way... Off to play. Woot woot.

Watch for Video...

The kits at One Crazy Stamper are going to have a new quick video to show you what you get... Too funny to hear your own voice online.

For a laugh, check it out online starting Wednesday.

Now I will really need to keep up with my kits.

Today's Layout...

Bazzill Basics Paper, Bella Blvd Stickers and Paper

Every once in a while I dust off the pizza box where I store all of my finished layouts and check things out.  I love looking at the smile on my dude's face in this picture.  He was a runner for the Pan Am games and we were so proud of him!  He jogged down the street to Inglewood Day and said a few words about being a runner and representing youth in Caledon (who knew he was going to speak?  Who knew he could pull it off?).  We spent the rest of the day eating ice cream and checking out Inglewood.  We then headed over to Caledon Day in Caledon East to partake in all sorts of junk food and watch the Caledon Day concert - it was great.

This is why I scrapbook.  I love the paper and the colours, the stickers and the do-dads... but it is looking at a finished page a few years later and thinking about how fun it was.  That is the real joy in taking all those pictures and putting them in an album - or in my case, a pizza box.

Puzzle done.... Sort of

We are done... All 1999 pieces.  It was a great puzzle and would definitely buy another one from the company.  But now I need to get the one missing piece. You may notice it in the top right hand corner... argh!

Today's Layout

Bella Blvd. Paper, Bazzill Basics Cardstock
Today's layout is a kit I put together for One Crazy Stamper in Bolton.  I do not have girls... so looking at "girl-o-centric" paper was a bit of a challenge for me... pink?  yikes?  However (you knew that was coming), after getting started with the images, the whole layout just came together.  Seriously!

The best part for me, as always, is the paper - Bella Blvd is one of my favourite companies and I have been using their paper for as long as they have been around!  As usual, their images and papers are perfect together!

Now I just need to find a friend with a "tween" to pass the layout to when it is sold out!  Any takers out there?

Puzzle Chaos...

Still slugging away on the Star Wars puzzle... 2000 pieces has been a challenge but I SO want to do the 5000 piece Star Wars one next.  The picture is beautiful but it would take over my entire table... This one is bad enough!

Today's Card

Three cards made from scraps... So much so that I am not 100% sure of the paper line.

Sentiment Stamps - Lawn Fawn
Circles - Spectrum (found at my local thrift store)
