"Mom, this sandwich is good! It's awesome.
You're like a Nonna in training... Ya know, a Mama!"
I say nothing...

Oh, the joy of back to school hair cuts. In classic fashion I have left the trip to the barber too late and the line is long... Really long... Rapunzel long.
So here we sit and wait and wait and wait.
We dare not leave as our spot in line will disappear and let's face it - I am not sure I have the strength to so this again! It is a shame that the sun is shining and we are inside waiting for a quick buzz cut!
It is all good.

It is amazing how a rainy day can just turn your plans upside down. On the day we are in the bush working on the garage, the rain just keeps on falling... And falling... And falling. A cloudy no rain kind of day would make everything a little bit easier.
The boys are working hard to get it done and doing a great job too!
Today's card uses a new stamp from High Hopes made right here in town! It also uses Echo Park Paper, Spectrum Noir Markers, Neenah Cardstock, Stickles and a Lawn Fawn sentiment stamp.
I am no colourer - that's for sure - but I like the way this card came together.
Enjoy!
Today's card used a number of popular items most people have on hand... Versamark ink, coloured ink, embossing powder, 3M washi tape and Neenah cardstock. It is a rather glittery card due to the embossing powder... I have glitter everywhere as usual! The stamp set is from Stampin Up and is still available in their catalogue.
The one piece of equipment I used that really helped me to make 6 of these cards is the MISTI. It enabled me to stamp the leaves in colour and then again with Versamark to emboss them. As this is a photopolymer set the MISTI is not a requirement, but it does help!
Thanks for checking out today's card.
